What is Lacquered Glass?
The lacquered glass is a float glass, with a layer of lacquered paint on one side whose grip is reinforced with a special treatment. The lacquered side is resistant to UV rays and discoloration, as well as moisture, could be used in kitchens or bathrooms. The traditional process is resistant to 80ºC and there is a diversified range of color with vitrified treatment that allows further tempering treatments. This glass is unique for architectural projects, combining modernity and the flexibility provided by the enhanced range of colors.
Lacquered Glass’s characteristics
The lacquered glass could be used in several applications and tailored to your specific needs. As well as other type of glasses, several manufactures techniques could be applied, namely: – Edges, bevels, holes, tempering, laminating and matting.
Lacquered glass is available in different thicknesses and colors (could be produced according a specific RAL), according to customer’s requirements:
